Adriana Angelova is the Business Development Director of a Bulgarian hotel group, which includes some of the largest and most successful hotels in the country – Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia, Grand Hotel Sofia and Kings’ Valley Medical & Spa Hotel, Kazanlak.

Having graduated from the University of National and World Economy with a degree in Tourism, she began her impressive career in a travel agency. Just two years later, she joined one of the world’s leading hotel chains, where she held key management positions in Bulgaria and Romania for 16 years.

With over 24 years of professional experience in the industry, she is a recognized expert and leader in the field of tourism and hospitality. She has worked with leading international corporations, government and diplomatic institutions, sports organizations, as well as world-famous personalities and brands. She actively participates in projects for the opening and repositioning of hotels, destination development and strategic positioning, and is a frequent participant in prestigious forums for investments in the hospitality and tourism industry, panels on sustainable development and innovations in the industry.

She is a sought-after guest speaker at national and international events, as well as a mentor to students at the renowned NHL Stenden University in the Netherlands, where she shares her extensive practical experience with future leaders in tourism.

Committed to the development of the Bulgarian tourism sector, she is among the founders of the Bulgarian Hotel Association and an active member of the Bulgarian Convention Bureau since its inception. Establishing Bulgaria as a leading conference and event destination is her next major professional priority.
