Graduated both as an engineer and economist, Daniel Cosnita has been working in the last 25 years in the fields of technology transfer and innovation, regional economic development and clusters. He is the current president of the Romanian Cluster Association, a secretary of the European Clusters Alliance, a member of the Export Council of Romania since 2011 and of the National Council for Technology Transfer and Innovation since 2016. Over the years he has organized numerous international events ranging from business to business/clusters to clusters matchmaking events, fact finding missions for clusters and governmental organisations to international conferences such as the European Cluster Conference 2019 and several Clusters Meet Regions Events on behalf of DG Grow, or the National Romanian Cluster Conference, a large international event at its 14th edition in 2025.
