Teodora Jilkova is a recognised expert in the events industry, with extensive international experience and strong visibility on the global MICE scene. Since 2019, she has taken the role of Executive Director of the Bulgarian Convention Bureau, actively contributing to the positioning of Bulgaria as a competitive destination for international meetings and events.

Her career includes leading roles in the planning and delivery of major international conferences and professional forums. Among them are the TCI Network Regional Conference (2018), the National Cluster Conference held during the European Cluster Weeks (2019), and the Black Sea & Balkans Conference World Summit (2020).

Alongside her work at the Bureau, Teodora is part of the team of the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) and works closely with the European Commission on international initiatives and projects.
Over the past four years, she has organised more than 45 events across five continents and has spoken in front of over 5,000 delegates worldwide.

Teodora believes strongly in the power of events to create opportunities, perspective and growth. She organises events, speaks at events, and works to strengthen Bulgaria’s presence on the international MICE map.
