Vladimir Grancharov

Vladimir Grancharov is a creative producer, designer, and co-founder of Elektrick.Me — a studio specializing in 3D projection mapping. He holds a degree in Engineering Design from the Technical University of Sofia.

Driven by a passion for innovation and functional design, Vladimir found his natural path in multimedia technologies. He defines himself as a generalist, valuing the diversity of disciplines he works across. This multidisciplinary approach is clearly reflected in both his personal portfolio and the work of Elektrick.Me, which spans 3D projection mapping, holograms, multimedia scenography, as well as graphic and product design.

His journey into multimedia began in his teenage years, when he and his friends organized rave parties, paying particular attention to visual concepts, stage design, and VJ installations. Between 2004 and 2010, together with his collaborators, he developed conceptual projects and realized some of the first 3D mapping installations in Bulgaria. At the same time, Vladimir continued to deepen his education and skills as a designer.

In 2010, he completed an internship at the German automotive company BRABUS, where he worked on tuning elements for several Mercedes-Benz models, including the design of a rim model. The experience gained during these formative years later translated into professional work in multimedia and interactive technologies such as 3D projection mapping, holograms, augmented and virtual reality, and motion capture.

Since its establishment in 2010, Elektrick.Me has delivered large-scale 3D projection mapping projects on iconic buildings in Bulgaria and internationally, including in Sofia, Burgas, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Vratsa, Troyan, and Nessebar, as well as the Technical University in Almaty (Kazakhstan), Tsaritsyno Palace in Moscow, the Meiji Memorial in Tokyo, and the Parliament in Bucharest. The studio’s portfolio also includes multimedia scenography for major television productions such as The Voice of Bulgaria, Bulgaria’s Got Talent, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and projects for the royal family of Kuwait.

Over the past 15 years, Vladimir and Elektrick.Me have delivered more than 800 projects worldwide, collaborating with leading global brands including Mercedes-Benz, Intel, Porsche, Land Rover, Volkswagen, Scania, Forbes, ING Bank, LIDL, AstraZeneca, JCDecaux, W Hotel, Coca-Cola, and many others.
