for registration for EXPO Event Industry 2026
When registering for EXPO Event Industry 2026, your personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable national and European data protection legislation.

Your personal data is jointly processed by:

2. Purposes of processing
Your personal data is used for:
- processing your registration;
- communication before, during and after the event;
- logistics, management and reporting of EXPO Event Industry 2026;
- statistical analysis and improvement of future editions of the event.
3. Registration system
Registration for the event is carried out through an online system operated by Event Design Ltd., which:
- collects technical data, including IP address;
- processes information on servers located within the EU;
- maintains its own privacy notice and cookie policy.

4. Categories of personal data we collect
- First name and surname
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Organisation and position
- Billing information (if applicable)
- Country
- IP address (automatically collected by the registration system)
These data are necessary to process your registration and your participation request as an exhibitor or visitor.
5. Photo and video recording
During EXPO Event Industry 2026, photographs and video recordings will be taken for the purposes of:
- documenting the event;
- promotional and marketing materials;
- publications on organisers’ websites, social media and media channels.
If you do not wish to appear in photos or video, please inform us in advance at eei2026@expoeventindustry.com so that our team can assist you onsite.
6. Recipients of the data
Your personal data may be accessed by:
- Bulgarian Convention Bureau (BGCVB);
- Event Design Ltd.;
- technical subcontractors and IT service providers within the EU;
- the external registration system (technical purposes only).
Your data will not be transferred to third parties outside the EU unless legally required.
7. Retention period
Your personal data will be stored for up to 36 months after the event, after which it will be deleted.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- request access to your personal data;
- request correction or deletion;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to processing;
- withdraw your consent (where applicable).
