Andriyana Petkova is the Executive Director of the National Palace of Culture. Her vision is to transform it into a cultural hub that fosters and develops the arts and festival formats, while also enhancing the visitor experience. After nearly a decade-long pause, the “Salon of the Arts” has been revived with spring and autumn editions. The film festivals “Kinomania” and “Love Is Folly” in Varna are also presented successfully. The New Year’s Music Festival is highly appreciated by music enthusiasts for its excellent programming, high artistic standards, and wide variety of genres.

Andriyana Petkova holds a degree in Marketing and Management from the University of National and World Economy. Her professional career has always been closely tied to art and culture. For more than 14 years, she served as the publisher of Interior Salon magazine. She has organized over 30 solo exhibitions of contemporary Bulgarian art around the world. In 2020, she founded 7Arts.bg — the first streaming platform for the performing arts — giving Bulgarian audiences access to their favorite theatre, opera, film, folklore and ballet productions.
