Atis Zaharans
Atis Zaharans is an accomplished international hotelier with more than 25 years of leadership experience across Europe, the CIS region, and the Middle East. He currently serves as the Cluster General Manager for Hyatt Regency Sofia and Hyatt Regency Pravets Resort in Bulgaria, where he oversees the operations of a 5-star city business hotel and a 4-star resort property, ensuring excellence in service quality, asset condition, and commercial performance.
Prior to move to Bulgaria he was General Manager of the Radisson Blu Resort Bukovel, one of Ukraine’s leading 5-star mountain resorts with 252 rooms, major wellness facilities, and diverse F&B offerings.
During his career he has managed several properties as General Manager with Radisson Hotel Group, overseeing hotels in Armenia, Russia, and other destinations.
Earlier he has led Food & Beverage operations for international hotels in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Bahrain, and Latvia, and managed a large catering enterprise in Latvia during his professional career.
With deep expertise in multi-property management, pre-opening, resort operational planning, international hospitality systems, and quality assurance, Atis follows a strategic yet hands on leadership style. He is fluent in Latvian, Russian, and English, with additional proficiency in Bulgarian and Ukrainian.
His personal interests include alpine skiing, running, hiking and wine culture.
